It is our 8 day in Spain and this is the very first rain day. We’ve decided to take a bus to Nájera as we’ve had challenges with blisters. Good decision now that it is going to rain all day.
The bus stop looks very European. The buildings and colours.
We had time to do a wee bit more exploring in Logrono before our bus. Off the tourist tracks.
Treating ourselves to a Nespresso Latte Macchiato. Yum.
It was fun to see that another marathon was happening in Logrono as it was when we were in Madrid.
Not the worse to run in the rain...cooler to be sure.
Fun fact....poor Alex spent so much money in the pharmacy buying more and more mole skin for blisters, insoles for her boots, bandages and Vaseline and polysporin.
Without good foot integrity, you just cannot walk or enjoy the pilgrimage at all.
